Transport to Cambridge from London airports

• Stansted airport is nearby (30 miles), with a frequent train from the airport to Cambridge main train station (NOT Cambridge NORTH station) that takes 30 minutes. See https://www.thetrainline.com/

• Heathrow airport(70 miles) has the underground train (Piccadilly line) to Kings Cross main railway station. Then 50 minute train to Cambridge.  In total about 2 hours.
  Alternatively, Heathrow has the Heathrow Express train to Paddington station, then underground train (Hammersmith and City line) to Kings Cross . Then 50 minute train to Cambridge. In total about 2 hours.

• Gatwick airport (90 miles) has a train option called Thameslink that is direct to Cambridge, without changes. It takes about 2 hours. Usually, there is a train every 30 minutes. See https://www.thetrainline.com/

• Luton airport (40 miles) : slow by bus/coach to Cambridge takes about2 hours. https://www.nationalexpress.com/en

• London City Airport (60 miles) is fast to get through and is about 90 minutes to Cambridge via Kings Cross main station. Travel by train and underground (City airport, then Docklands light railway (DLR) to Bank underground station; then Northern line to Kings Cross, then fast train (50 minutes) with only a few stops to Cambridge
